Another great chapter in the mystery detective genre, yes it's the particularly interesting Mr Wong (as played by Boris Karloff)
and the great thing; there's at least six 'Mr Wong' movies out there, not counting the remake with Charlie Chan.
A murder plot of high suspicion involving shareholdings, poison gas and Corruption. Can Captain Sam Street and Mr. James Lee Wong
solve the case.
Bavarians what are they good for? Well it turns out probably murder, leave it to those Central Germans to always be causing problems, never content with just leaving things alone.
This film as surprisingly good pacing and fun dialogue, especially with Captain Sam Street, he's got to be the most stereotype to the point, by the book policeman you could ever think of.
Always angry he's that kind of man that would rather just punch you in the face then actually be a detective a real throw them all in the pen and throw away the key kind of fella.
Then of course you have Mr Wong himself always prepared for a situation well educated and able to connect anything with anything else, maybe he's the father of Columbo. tho he doesn't ask that many questions.
