Film Summary CXXVIII (Mr. Wong in Chinatown)

The triumphant return of Mr. Wong and what a great return it is, as this film Builds on the last film with better pacing, acting and story.

A Chinese princess is murdered in Mr. Wong's house and a mystery grows from there, why was the princess killed, what was she doing there and for that matter why was she in America in the first place?

The title is a bit misleading, Mr Wong doesn't really spend that much time in Chinatown he goes there once.

Mr Wong, Capt. Bill Street and Roberta 'Bobbie' Logan return yet again to solve another thrilling mystery. The chemistry between Bill and 'Bobbie was particularly good. I almost want to see a spin-off movie of just their relationship, a kind of Lois Lane reporter working out her romantic troubles with a Perry Mason like detective.
