So I tried watching another Doris Day film and I've come to the conclusion that I don't like Doris Day as a main actor. She's a little too much, especially when you put her in a movie where she has to fight somebody for something. It's all right for about 30 minutes but after that she gets a little draining, she's just too whiny.
So there's a love triangle involving Doris Day, Jack Lemmon and Steve Forrest. Jack Lemmon plays the good-hearted but kind of a klutz character that Doris Day has known for years, they're kind of an on-again off-again romantic couple.
Steve Forrest comes into the picture and he's the kind of suave sophisticated man who will sweep you off your feet. Both these guys fight for Doris Day's affection and you know that at the end of the film she's going to choose Jack.
In most films Steve would come off as a bit arrogant or maybe a jerk, just the kind of guy you don't really want to get with, winch makes you feel good when Doris choose Jack.
But Steve didn't do anything wrong, he just gets pushed over and gets nothing in the end, they treat him a bit like crap.
The main plot of the film revolves around Doris Day legal battle with a group of Highly corrupted executives and they are the most stereotype Executives you could ever find. Not since "You've got mail" have I seen such ridiculous representation of businessmen in a film.
