It's a modern Sam Neill film! it's nice to see a lighter tone movie these days.
I can't remember the last time i laughed at a modern comedy, maybe it has something to do with the new Zealander sense of hummer. They take more chances then the Americans.
If you watch a lot of Sam Neill films you'll start to see a pattern, there usually drab and miserable.
That's not to say there aren't a little dark moments in this movie but it's still mainly upbeat. Heck they even make fun of a few of his old films such as ''Sleeping Dogs''
in short I think it's worth the watch it's got a comedy it's got heart and it's a Well shot. Like most movies in New Zealand they can fall into the category of ''look how beautiful New Zealand is why don't you come to New Zealand and do things''
Not doing an actual summary just go watch the movie.
