Film Summary CXXXIX (Who Killed Captain Alex)

Proclaimed to be Uganda's first action film/first film to have English Video Joker*. Never again do I want to hear a big-budget film tell me or anyone else that they can't do a certain thing. This film was made with $200 and it has gun fights, ninja fights, helicopter fights and sometimes all of them at once. Truly this is the most compassionate film I've seen in some time everyone involved tried their best and did what they could. The outcome is a great Independence film.

So there is a great Commander by the name of Alex who fights crime in Columbia, Pakistan, Russia and is now in Uganda. He go's after the evil Tiger Mafia and they're very cruel boss. there's also a kung fu fighting Ninja like man who was very much like Bruce Lee only they call him ''Bruce U''

There is Hollywood, there is Bollywood and now there is a Wakaliwood ''home of da best of da best movies''

Truly this is a film I believe should be watched by everyone, not just because I like the movie or because I think it'sa load of fun, this film needs to be seen to spread the word of the new Ugandan film industry. The more people see the more people know, this may help them with future funding to create a prominent film industry, first in Uganda and possibly throughout central Africa. How great would it be to have another part of the world producing well-made quality films.

It's ironic that I discovered this film through a channel on YouTube called ''I Hate Everything'' as the person on that channel absolutely love this movie and with good reason.

*A video Joker is a man who provides commentary over the majority of the film making jokes and Sly remarks about the film and people in it. Sometimes just reminding you of what film you're watching. At first I didn't think I would like this feature but it grows on you over time and it makes the Film more amusing to watch. Apparently this is the true way to enjoy Uganda based film, many of their other films have video Jokers.
