Charlie wakes up to discover that there's another man pretending to be him and his best friend and wife believe that this man is in fact him. As time goes on he discovers a devious plot to steal over a million dollars in bonds. They're going to use him (Charlie) as a scapegoat to do so. It kind of reminds me of Die Hard.
I would recommend the movie but only if you havant seen the film ''Scapegoat'' otherwise go watch that, Alec Guinness does a far better job at the two people interacting with each other at the same time. Nothing against Barry Nelson I like him well enough. He just doesn't have the Charisma of Alec Guinness.
There's this Doberman that's been specially trained to kill people it kills all kinds of people in this movie and constantly keeps chasing down our main protagonist. It's quite a scary prospect the idea of a dog coming after you trying to rip out your throat knowing that you're powerless to stop it. It's also interesting to see this movie takes place in Puerto Rico, few movies I see ever take place in Puerto Rico both back in the day or today. And that's kind of annoying, it's an American colony after all it's under there authority. Sometimes I wonder if the United States just likes to pretend like the country doesn't exist, people don't have to acknowledge that it's there and they don't have to acknowledge that they might have voting rights within the nation within a few years, especially if Puerto Rico should ever become its own independent state.
