A film about the military industrial complex bureaucracy. Oh what fun enjoyment you will have.
It's always nice to see John C. McGinley in a movie, I know he's in a bunch of other films as well but at the end of day he's always going to remind me of Dr. Perry Cox from the television show Scrubs. Sorry guy no matter what you do you become a bit Typecast at least in my brain.
Cary Elwes plays the lieutenant colonel transferred to the Pentagon by the United States Senate in order to inspect and report on the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
What was supposed to be a transport vehicle For soldiers back in the 1960s end up turning into a monstrosity of death. The tanks made of aluminum, if you get shot in an aluminum tank you die if it doesn't just rip apart from the shell the vapors from the metal will kill you.
The weird thing is this movie is based off of a true story ''well to some extent anyways.'' There really were a bunch of US Arms and weapons that were poorly made by various armchair generals who just wanted to get quick and easy promotions. Thank God for the United States that their main enemy was the incompetent Soviet Union: ''A country so broken and corrupt that it makes your own shortcomings and bureaucracy look like mere child's play.''
I absolutely love Kelsey Grammer in this he just gets to chew all the scenery all the day. I don't know how he can play such a sophisticated role and yet be so angry at the exact same time.
Do you notice that in every movie and television show Kelsey grammer always ends up topless at some point. I don't know what it is about that man but he just loves showing off his chest of the world.
