Film Summary CCLV (Tarantula)

It's time for another giant spider story. I don't know if a Arachnophobia was the biggest thing in the 1950s or what. But people sure do the love giant spider movies. It's something I can forget behind.

The characters in the film aren't really that interesting but then what do you want from a giant spider movie. The whole point is to make a story and get an excuse so that we can have a giant attack.. All I want to see is a giant spider roaming around on the streets eating stuff and fighting the police / army.

It's botched experimentation. That's what created our giant tarantula and pretty large guinea pig too. And I know it's a South Park joke, but I would really like to see a movie involving a giant guinea pig. For all I know it's out there, I know there's a giant praying mantis movie and there's all types of giant Birds. I don't even have to bring up the monkeys.
So about 40 minutes and we finally get our giant tarantula wandering through the desert and attacking the occasional building.
And it does all the things you'd expect a giant tarantula to do. Attack random places, slowly but surely descending on to a local Town only to be killed by a giant explosion. I suppose if you're a fan of monster B films you'll find something enjoyable here, It might be better just to watch the last 10 minutes. When the air force shows up and starts blowing the ever-living hell out of our spider with missiles and may-Palm.
When you've seen one big spider movie, you've more or less seen them all. I still recommend ''Earth vs The Giant Spider'' a little bit more. There's more spider and you get more personal involvement with a destruction of it, also they go into its own little cave and fight the thing one on one.
