It's Space Cop, he's from the future... Of space.
The year is 2058, in Milwaukee Wisconsin it resembles a Kryptonian City, with flying cars and potato chips that don't come in bags. Space Cop is called into a hostage situation in where he must save the mayor of the Moon from a crazy terrorist man. Space cop is not your typical policeman, he doesn't take your crap. Space cop shoots his fucking face. He dies and so does the moon or at least the city on the moon.
Space cop is promoted by his superiors as to keep them out of the way of real crimes. Now he works the traffic beet, sitting on his fat Duff and doing nothing, that is until he encounters a speeding vehicle and takes Chase. The speeding ship is heading for a black hole where it travel back in time to the year 1987 (But space cops laser beams change that and now they're stuck in 2007.
It's been 8 years and Space Cops been on the police force in the modern day. He gets chewed out constantly by his superiors for blowing up buildings and killing every criminally comes across. But all this is going to change. Because a cop from the 1940s is unfrozen, now space cop has to team up with past cop. Together they must solve the biggest mystery of all.
So space Cop will kill many aliens, all of which are pleading for their life, those innocent, poor little aliens. But space cop has no time for them, he blows their freaking heads off too. And he make sure that everyone's dead. Including finding the man who killed his wife in the future but in the past he's only a small child, but space cops above such things and shoots him too along with his father who he kills.
Space cop is 50% Snake Plissken 50% Judge Dredd and 50% indifferents. All together it makes him 100% ready for the job.
I can't remember the rest of the film, and really that's the only problem Everything feels like it's a bunch of Independence scenes meshed together. And the acting is not amazing but then some of these people aren't actors, and compared to other movies I've seen at the same budget it's absolutely spectacular. I like the model work, they did enjoyble music \ soundtrack. And I'm really impressed with their lighting.
If you're a fan of low budget sci-fi films then space Cop will work perfectly for you.
