Comic Summary II (Maximum Carnage ''Part4'')

Now we will learn the story of how Spider-Man became bloated with billions of trillions of villains and Friends. I swear to God every single issue wants to introduce a new character, if not having the entire D-Squad with the villains was enough now we have black cat. Who's halfway on to being a villain anyways.

Carnage and his local crew found a new home. Some odd Warehouse where they store a bunch of rock and roll memorabilia when not in use. Carnage remarks that he quite enjoys metal, claiming he loves the chaotic music. In fact he seems to be enjoying himself quite a bit, everyone's getting along and having a gay old time.
Just look at this panel, have you ever seen something so magical.

That is until they come across the demo-Goblin. Who for some reason shows up at their little Warehouse. Shriek wants to kill him mainly due to the fact that he's an annoying jerk. Carnage is amused by this demonish man. He decides to let Him into the team. Shriek is taken aback by this, she tells Carnage that he's just going to betray them in the long run. And Carnage tells her that he knows, he just wants him around for the amusement. Carnage has such confidence in his own power (or possibly delusion) that he's not even bothered by the aspect of being betrayed. He almost seems to welcome it.

We cut over to Peter Parker's apartment, where Eddie Brock has just stumbled into his house half dead and covered in alien goo. Mary Jane wants Peter to get rid of him at once. And Peter tells her that he can't turn away a person who's going to die. This really gets MJ irate . She starts to shout at Peter. ''This man wants to kill you! Venom is your sworn enemy for the longest time now.'' She also tells Peter; ''You can't stop being Spider-Man for 5 minutes'' and that she's fed up with him right now,* she leaves the house and wanders off. Now Spider-Man is stuck with a half dead Eddie Brock, a very mad wife and Carnage running amok through the streets.

Eddie tries to talk to Spider-Man but can only stay awake for so long, he says he's come here to deal with the Carnage problem before he passes out.
Spider-Man unsure of what to do goes out into the streets to the only person I can ask advice from. Black-cat longtime associate and occasional lover to Spiderman. (At least in some comic book consistencies). She informs him the best course of action is to utilise Eddie, especially given that they're not going to have a good chance of beating Carnage without him. Spider-Man becomes a little on eased by this, as it's implied that black cats going to join in his fight against Carnage.

We see later that MJ went over to Aunt May's house. We're Peter Parker's parents are currently staying. This is easily the weakest part of a whole comic. Not only is Peter Parker's parents part of an already existing storyline from a different comic, but it just comes off as the most ridiculous thing that's ever happened in the Spider-Man Comic.
And I say this with fully knowing that Carnage teamed up of a devil-man, spider monster and a woman who has high-pitched screaming ability.
Speaking of our team of incredible villains, we cut over to them where it shows that shriek and the demon-Goblin are fighting one another. They may have focused more on their fight if the character Dagger hadn't shown up the try and destroy the group. Of course Dagger gets his butt kicked because he's one idiot versus 4 super criminals. A part of me really wished they would have taken him out, there's just something about Dagger I really don't like. He's such a silly dumb little fool. But luckily for Dagger Spider-Man, Blackcat and Venom show up to Aid in the fight against Carnage after spending a considerable amount of time looking for him.

The two teams fight each other, Carnage winning out because of a more solid structure and the fact that he burns his own building to the ground. This leads Eddie Brock to quite a bad State as the Symbiote doesn't seem to do well against fire. Black-cat unbenounced to Spider-Man was buried Under a very large amount of debris.
This puts Spider-Man into an interesting conundrum, he could try to go after Carnage and stop him from killing Untold amount of people or he stays back to save Black-Cat and Venom.
The character Dagger already screwed off ''that lazy good-for-nothing idiot,'' his best attack is the throw people into an alternate Dimension that makes them go insane. He wants to do this to Carnage, a technique that even Spider-Man says would be utterly ridiculous. Here's hoping dagger gets what's coming to him. Which makes me sound like a monster given that dagger is only fighting for the Revenge of his Fallen Friend. But I don't care, I don't like Dagger. For that matter I'm not all that interested in Spider-Man at the moment. I think I'm on team Carnage. Not only is he having a lot more fun but I love the dynamic between him, shriek and the Doppelganger.

And that concludes Issue Number Four. Carnage and his friends are having a lot of fun, there even starting to bond. While Spider-Man's world is falling apart.
The fights are pretty good, the pacing is surprisingly fluid and it leaves you in another cliffhanger.

*A little part of me wanted to be upset at MJ . Because she should know better about Spider-Man, but then I got to thinking about it. She lives with Peter Parker and he usually puts his superhero duty above her. She's also used to all the villains and ridiculous over-the-top scenarios. To her this is just an ongoing problem. It's the equivalent to complaining to your significant other about a bad habit of theirs, or putting their promotion above spending time with the family. Spider-Man is the Workaholics scenario for Mary Jane. And at the end of the comics she's still trying to call Peter to make sure he's alive. It's not like she's going to leave him, she just needed a little break, a bit of time to clear her head.
