Film Summary CCLXI (A Goofy Movie)

It's the grand old adventure of Goofy and his son Max.

Because goofy takes the words of angry people a little too far thinking his son's going to end up an electric chair when all he did was interrupt his principles end of the year presentation. But as one may imagine goofy isn't The Brightest Bulb in the field. But he might very well be the kindest. Personally I would love her nothing more than to spend a road trip of Goofy that sounds like just about every form of Heaven one could imagine. Going a pancake restaurants and Lester's Opossum playtorium.

And Max is miserable because his school social life is in the toilet. And of course a teenager thinks that's the worst thing humanely imaginable. It's a movie where your prospective definitely changes with age.
Most of the movie is just goofy trying to win over his son. And his son being very reluctant due to a lie he said to his theoretical girlfriend. It's your typical Road Trip movie with lots of funny hijinx surprisingly good music.
Animation is where this film gets interesting. It's a c grade Disney animation. A grade is something like Hunchback of Notre-down and B grade is The Lion King . but despite that it's still a fairly good-looking movie The Animation can flip flop a little bit but that might be down to the fact that the movie was made by three to four different Animation Studios. And its use of Colours and fantastic. They love their light effects in this film.

It's what I'd almost want to call a feel-good movie ,
But there are so many sad moments in the film especially when it comes to goofy. The poor guy just can't get a break, he thinks his sons in a bad spot his son doesn't seem to appreciate him and his best friend's a bit of a jerk. It's an all-around hard time for Goofy. And he's not even the star of it, Max is the main character in this film.

And beyond that there isn't too much to say. The music is fun enough much of it having that Disney charm and whatever is left over has a very 1980s early 90s pop tune to it. The pop music isn't to my taste I feel I'm more at home with Goofy and the Mambo King. But nonetheless it's still fun to watch I got a different emotion every time seeing it.

One day I'll look in the mirror and discover that I am Goofy, and life will hit its climax.
Why is Bobby on the poster? He's a very minor character in the movie, Pete has more showtime and he does, but he's nowhere to be seen. It just seems weird to me, maybe he's supposed to attract that hip 80s 90s audience.
