Film Summary CCXCIX (Junior)

Did you know the world's greatest movie actually exist! I sure didn't. But here we are Arnold Schwarzenegger he's going to get pregnant and Danny DeVito's here for some reason.

We start with Arnold Schwarzenegger in a library already this seems a bit out of place. But then he finds this strange baby and he tries to find the owner of said baby. He eventually runs afoul of many other babies, all sitting in different chairs at this Library. Luckily the whole thing was a dream and we see Arnold Schwarzenegger sleeping peacefully in his bed, reading something. I can't imagine an Arnold Schwarzenegger character in any movie reading anything. Even more unbelievable he's apparently a scientist.

We also get to see Danny DeVito who's working and what I think is a maternity ward.
Both men have to deal with the FDA for some reason. And I can't concentrate on the actual story because Arnold Schwarzenegger is given long sentences with lots of scientific wording. The guys English is worse than my own.

They're trying to get approval for some super drug that helps with women pregnancy. But the FDA is reluctant to give them the go-ahead. This leads to their funding being pulled, their Laboratory being taken away and their jobs ending (Well at least Arnold Schwarzenegger's job.) Danny DeVito's character is still doing whatever it is the heck he supposed to be doing. And his ex wife is pregnant and wants him to take care of her as her personal Doctor. Which in real life is something you can't do. Conflict of interest and all that.
Emma Thompson shows up as the person they'll be taking over Arnold Schwarzenegger his lab.

Her research also involves embryos but she has this weird looking machine that looks like something out of a Jurassic Park. Anyways Danny has to convince Arnold to act as a surrogate mother for there Superdrug that they need to test. As you can imagine Arnold's a little reluctant to be a test subject for a pregnancy drug. But Danny DeVito is nothing if not persistent and wins Arnold Schwarzenegger over. Now he has to go back to his former lab, steal an embryo from the Jurassic Park looking machine and hopefully get Arnold Schwarzenegger pregnant.

Now we get the scenes where Arnold Schwarzenegger starts to take on the effects of a pregnancy. Morning sickness, mood swings, fatigue and eventually the entire emotional state start switching and we end up with this weird dichotomy between him and Danny DeVito where they feel like The Odd Couple meets The Honeymooners.

And then there's the non-existent awkward Chemistry Between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emma Thompson which is so offbeat and strange that it becomes oddly funny.

And then the two of them go on talking for some time. We also get an introduction between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito's ex-wife. Both of which are pregnant both of which can relate with one another except that Danny DeVito ex has no idea that Arnold's pregnant. This movie is freaking weird. Now we get to the extra weird scenes Arnold baby bump is getting bigger you can feel it kicking. Danny DeVito asked to explain where he actually got the embryo. Turns out the embryo was an egg from Emma Thompson herself.

Okay now we have the obligatory scene where Arnold Schwarzenegger has to explain to Emma Thompson that he's pregnant with her child. After this the head of the research division comes down and informs Arnold that his child is the property of the university and we officially under the guidance of said University. Arnold then froze him into a wall and starts to run away. And now on top of everything else we have Arnold Schwarzenegger in incredibly awkward drag. Soon we're going to have another confrontation and an Arnold going to end up on the operating table. Which is especially complexity when you consider that he only has the baby in him he doesn't have any of the other organs.

Indeed Arnold Schwarzenegger gives birth to a bouncing beautiful boy. And Danny DeVito's Xe also gives birth to a baby. And everybody lives together in an incredibly happy relationship.

I do feel sorry for that kid when they're going to have to explain to him that his mommy is also his daddy but his actual dad is also his mother and it's just going to be a bit confusing mess.
