I talked about the movie Bronson last time and how I felt every minute of it.
But strangely enough it worked out. The film was enthralling and you just wanted to see what was happening so it was almost more of a treat that a hindrance.
Well sweet God that's certainly not the case here.
At only an hour and 10 minutes this horrible film just won't end.
The whole plot revolves around taking Hitler's brain putting in a tube and shipping it off to South America where he plans to strike again to conquer the world.
You'd think with that simple premise alone you could make something entertaining.
But it just sits there going on and on with dis-interesting characters, pointlessly blabbing on about some stupid super weapon that's going to destroy the world (you just know that these Nazis have).
In the whole thing is just so cheaply done.
Now I'm not expecting anything great from some from together mid-60s movie with the budget of $6 and a bag of potato chips.
But my God they could have done a little bit more with some of their sets.
One of the hotel rooms that supposed to take place in this fictional country is just a blank wall with a singular door and a sombrero hanging to the side.
This fictional countries supposed to be around Venezuela.
That's not the same as Mexico.

What makes this even more annoying is that there's an ultimate version of this film called they saved Hitler's brain which involves 20 minutes of extra footage with a bunch of college kids from what looks to be the early 70s pointlessly shoving themselves into the movie to add some external extra plot. And it's just as bad. It doesn't match up at all.

All that ends up doing is creating this really weird scenario in where you have a bunch of 70s looking scenes trying to take place in a movie made in the late sixties which looks like a film that was made in the mid-50s.
It's baffling and weird and you should never waste your time with it. Maybe this film would be okay if you had a group of friends and you were watching a whole bunch of these cheap B films.
It's a lame duck of a movie.
