Film Summary DCCCXXXII (Pray)

A girl wants to prove that she's the greatest hunter. Eventually she's able to fight the Predator and her point is made.

I think her brother died though, so it's not really a good trade-off.

It's an okay movie.
I stated on Twitter that it's the second best made Predator film and I stick by that.
Although I'm not sure if it is entertaining is predator II.
There's a high chance I'd rather watch that over this movie.
But we'll see how that pans out when I inevitably watch Predator 2 at some point in the future.

Overall this movie does what it needs to. It establishes it's key characters, a simple hunting story and does it with a unique environment for the Predator franchise. All while still connecting it with the previous films.
Some people have issues with the CGI.
Honestly I wasn't all that bothered by it.
Would have been nice to see some more realistic blood effects.
But it wasn't a game changer.
Also would have been nice to see the movie actually done in an Apache language and not just modern-day English.
But we all understand how Studios work and they sure as heck weren't going to have a movie where people would have to read.

The Predators should have kept their old spear chucking projectile weapon.
Seems to be a lot more productive and useful than that plasma-based energy weapon they have in the newer films.
